Dammit Jim, I'm An Advertisement, Not A Doctor!

So I was sitting here playing around with some design ideas a few months ago, right before the new Star Trek movie came out, and I kept remembering how Bones would always yell out "Dammit Jim, I'm a doctor, not a (insert random noun here)!"

I thought that was a cool idea for a shirt, but then I thought: "What if someone wants a mousepad, or a coffee mug, or a dog sweater?" Then it dawned on me, just make a different design for each product. I always run my crazy ideas by my wife, and she loved it, so away I went!

If you have a Trekkie, a Trekker, or even a normal guy with a sense of humor in your life, this is a must-have gift for Christmas this year!

The most popular site where you can find the design is CafePress.com, but I've also got the design up on Zazzle.com, Spreadshirt.com, TShirtMonster.ca, and Wordans.com.

Head over to any of these sites to get your favorite geek the coolest gift this side of the Delta Quadrant. Hell, pick up a shirt for yourself while you're at it! There's a crapload of different designs available, so take a good look around before you hit that Checkout button!

The Funk of 40,000 Years

Here's the next one in the Michael Jackson series. It's a quote from the song "Thriller", spoken in the song by Vincent Price.
Michael's earlier works (including most of the Jackson Five stuff) were infused with a lot of Funk music, so besides being the King of Pop, I think it's fair to say that he was also "The Funk of Forty Thousand Years".

Toilets That Work.

I just finished putting up a new design on Cafe Press, Zazzle, Wordan's, TShirt Monster, Spreadshirt, and Printfection. It's one of my favorite ones that I've done in recent memory. I've been thinking of making it for a long time, I'm glad I finally got around to finishing it.

A Perfect Wedding Day

It rained almost every day this Summer, and if it wasn't raining, it was cloudy, overcast, foggy, and generally U-G-L-Y outside.... but the day before our wedding, it magically became hot and sunny, and stayed that way until two days after the wedding.
We couldn't have asked for more perfect weather.
Melissa looked absolutely breathtaking in her wedding gown, and I looked pretty damn swanky in my all-white tuxedo.
Melissa's friend Lisa Frampton was by her side as her Maid Of Honor, my brother-from-another-mother Mitch Billard stood up for me as my best man.
Abigail and Carter were also part of the wedding party: Carter was our Ring Bearer, and Abigail escorted him down the aisle, pushing his stroller.
I've created a couple photo albums of the wedding, which you can see by going to either our "Bob Loves Melissa" website or our Picasa photo album.
We'd like to send thanks from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who attended the wedding, the reception, the after-party, and also to those who were unable to make it but sent cards or gifts.
